I cant not beat him at all.

Use the balista in his boss room. If you cant parry your screwed.

I been sitting trying and trying to kill this dude. Shooting and dodge just don't help at all.


Use the Balista? I have been trying to use that but doesn't help

what's your main problem with him? Like, does he do too much damage, can't you dodge him, is your damage output too low..?

Stay medium distance away and bait the charge swing. That's the easiest move to avoid and punish. Forget about the ballista, unless you have a phantom to distract. When his sword turns blue run away or prep to dodge.

If you can dodge at even a beginner's level he's easy.

This is how I've done it several times in the Forest. Roll past his charge, land a couple of hits and run away.

Doesn't work for me in the Keep as there isn't enough room.

That's why you have to parry him first, using the ballista makes the fight super easy, he dies in two consecutive shots If I remember correctly.
