4% attach rate is very small seems Sony fans aren't much interested either. I know I have 0 interest as I get motion sickness at times

How much has windows VR sold compared to playstation vr?
It became the most successful VR peripheral on the market starting in 2018 thanks to its brand association and ease of use.
https://www.viar360.com/virtual-reality-market-size-2018/
Sony’s PlayStation VR became the market leader during the holiday quarter, selling 700,000 units — the largest number of headsets sold across any category. By contrast, the standalone Oculus Go sold 555,000 units, with the PC-tethered Oculus Rift and HTC Vive selling 160,000 and 130,000 headsets. PlayStation VR overtook Samsung Gear VR to become the market leader as consumers craved higher-end experiences in console, PC and standalone headsets.

this was july 2018 article https://www.trustedreviews.com/news/sonys-playstation-vr-headset-officially-success-3352304
Sony has confirmed the PlayStation VR headset has surpassed the two million units barrier a little more than a year after it first went on sale.
That makes it the most successful virtual reality headset currently on the market.

Still waiting on Fallout 4 VR like Todd Howard said in the official Scorpio reveal trailer. "we needed the speed, and power... It's gonna be magical"!

Meanwhile others have already enjoyed Skyrim PSVR and really enjoy it ^_^ There was a PS4+VR skyrim bundle back then too. Guess Todd figured MS will never do VR for him so he gave extra goodies to PS instead.

So playstation vr sold 700k.
Windows vr sold over 850k.

But there are a ton more windows systems than ps. So no wonder it doesn't seem like much demand for it from Microsoft perspective

Are you talking about Windows Mixed Reality headsets, or VR headsets in general for the PC?

And who might you be? An alt perhaps? 🤔

No just a gamefaqs member who's been using it for 18 years on one account; who gets tired of infantile fanboys cluttering the board with nonsense.

After seeing him cry to the mods on the hellhole board and admitting to abusing the report feature, you just know Emperor had an aneurism while banging on his keyboard trying to get you nodded for this post. Hilarious it’s not working for him 😂

"Holo-Deck type gaming" as in like a Holo-Deck. Your living room would become the gaming space, and there wouldn't be any headsets or controllers. It's really not that hard to understand

I don't think you understand the difference between augmented and virtual reality. What you describe is a virtual reality; a Holodeck is not an augmented version of the existing space, it's a new virtual space.

A very strange place. Rift + Vive has sold about 1.2m, obviously as we know PSVR has sold 4.2m.
