Based on the beta the bullet sponginess is definitely way better, enemies only really started being able to take a lot of damage in the one end game mission they had, and even there if you used your special weapons you could mow them down pretty fast.

It's probably equally repetitive though, but that's only based off a few missions.

I actually liked the bullet sponge enemies. It was cool running from cover to cover while taking the bosses armor down and then his life bar.

That’s how the bosses still are.

Ah. I only played the beta, and even then the bosses were easy sauce.

Someone at work was saying this is finally the online loot shooter that has enough content that it should have at launch.Okay but what does it have that the others namely the first division doesn't?From what i see its basically the first game again with tweaks and a day/night cycle.

Now,im not s***ting on the game.I see people are enjoying it im just trying to wrap my head around what makes this particular one stand out from the others including the first division game.

Play it and find out.

The game works in multiplayer.
Power Increase is sustained and enemies never feel like bullet sponges unless you’re out if you’re depth.
Shotguns aren’t overpowered.
Skill system.
Ez mode healing is gone.
Game is gorgeous and varied.
Better customisation.
Better base building
Better voice actors
Better story telling
Specialisations
3 dark zones, 2 normalised and 1 gear based.
Entire end game.
Handles lore much better.
Snow Drop engine has hit its prime.
No snow.
Has a 2 on the end which is twice what 1 is.
GT & Steam: Tyron3L1o. PSN: TyroneLio.
I enjoy video games and shoes, mainly shoes.
