I'm looking to purchase this monitor at Best Buy

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-vp28uqg-28-led-4k-uhd-monitor-black/6120908.p?skuId=6120908

I just got an Xbox One X and I currently have a Ben Q monitor that does 1080p. It's been working beautifully for years but I figure I might as well upgrade to 4K.

I don't know much about 4k. Looking for any opinions, comments, recommendations, whatever.

I’m surprised people buy a monitor especially for gaming as opposed to just using a TV.

I've got the Samsung CHG90 monitor. It's pretty good and I recommend it. It's a 49" 4K HDR monitor btw.

Can you use a monitor for watching TV? If so, then I could see the purpose of spending on a monitor. I assume you can at least use it to watch Netflix/Amazon Prime, etc via your XBox? And what do you do for audio?
