I would probably be sick of hearing it too if I were Phil. Should the Xbox 1st party lineup be more robust? Certainly. But once you make the decision to do that (which it seems like they have), there's a huge lead time involved before that decision can bear fruit. If MS decided at the end of last year to really kick it into gear and provide more big-budget 1st party titles, then you won't see any of them until at least 2019. So there's that big gap of time where people are telling you you need to do something that you're already well at work on.

The question remains if that investment is in solid narrative experiences, or more GaaS bulls***.

Finally he's listening...he obviously wasn't before...

Spencer’s statement is definitely music for the ears of Xbox (and Windows 10 PC) fans. While the next wave of first-party games due in 2018 includes some interesting titles, it doesn’t compare favorably to the slate of exclusives Sony has in store for PlayStation 4 (or Nintendo for the Switch, for that matter).

Hes listening to the community, of which, as a non-console owner, you are not part of. However you too could join us revelling in the power of the mighty X as its now only £90 more expensive than the underpowered PROtato on Amazon UK, a bargain for the far superior and more refined tech and included UHD player.
Im still not regretting jumping ship from p$ony and after experiencing X my money will continue to pour into Phils! wallet.

Now excuse me as i feel a PUBG session awaits.

Remember,

only £90 difference

right now...

True, it's too late for Xbox One. But I'm planning to buy another Xbox next gen and if it could have some good IP ready I would have more confidence in the brand.

I doubt they've been sitting on their hands. They will have more to show for Fall. Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3 and State of Decay will all release before fall.

Let's hope they have a game or two in their back pocket.

Yes everyone including MS know what they need to do, the only ones in denial are the blind fanboys.
