it’s definitely an upgrade over my last 1440p monitor where dark scenes always seemed very gray/washed out.

For reference, what monitor was it? I have an Asus PB278 Q and like it, but being 1440p, it doesn't get along with certain parts of my setup.

Lol, that’s the exact same monitor I was using!

How does the color and input lag compare to the Acer ET322QK 4K HDR monitor?

I don’t know much about input lag, so I can’t speak on that. I felt like the still images on my ASUS were better but I prefer the gameplay colors on the Acer.

Edit:
I’ve been playing more and honestly, I’m not impressed by the colors while gaming. They’re fine for me, but really not noticeably better than my PB278Q.

Overall, I’m happy with the screen size and 4K, especially for the price. I wanted to go 4K and was considering a 28 inch due to 32 inch being too expensive. So this is a great deal for me and I have no regrets whatsoever. Again, I recommend it for gamers but not for anyone that needs it for editing.

Got mine today and so far, it’s nice, but not amazing. Takes a good amount of calibration and I’m still not fully satisfied with the colors, but that’s mostly just with still images. But I’m completely happy with it while gaming on my X1X.

Mind posting your settings? I got my et322 as well today.

I'm liking it for hdr gaming, but I feel picture setting could be better in non HDR mode. Was curious what other people are using for settings on the monitor. Can't really find much else where on the net.

I'm waiting for next year for the "best of both worlds" monitors of 4K @ 144hz.

I think I'm better off waiting for one of these. Hopefully there will be a 32" version.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but my understanding is is hz/frequency corresponds or is the same as refresh rate (ie 60 fps), console games don't run above 60 fps therefore it's pointless to get a monitor for console gaming with a higher frequency than 60hz. You just want to make sure that any 4k monitor actually supports 4k @60hz, because, from my understanding, a lot of game monitors are marketed as 4k, but only can do 30hz/30fps.

For consoles that's true, but I play on both console and PC. Primarily PC. So I'll get the full potential of that monitor. As for consoles, you just need a monitor with HDMI 2.0 to get 4K 60 Hz/60 fps. As opposed to HDMI 1.4, which maxes out at 4K 30 Hz/30 fps. Higher than that and you need either: DVI, or DisplayPort. HDMI 2.1 is in the works too, but I don't know it's capabilities.

I'm using this monitor now. Things I don't like:

--limited inputs. Only 1 display port and 2 HDMI
--the frame is larger than expected, 5/8th wide.
--The height of the monitor on the stand... The screen starts at about 4 3/4th inch off the desk. Going to --have to buy a new stand.

I'll find the positive stuff later, I'm still getting used to the "large" size. I'm used to 28 inches so it's taking me a minute to get used to it, and I have to push it back further on my desk. I'm also dealing with old HDMI cables that aren't supporting 4K, and redoing my setup for the limited inputs.

My previous gaming monitor didn't have great colors, so for me this new one looks pretty good even without any calibration.
And I want the brightest, I want fluorescence every day and night for the rest of my life - RIP Chuck Mosley

I wonder how it stacks up against my Dell s2716dg.

I've been hogging the 65" OLED. I would love to have a 27" version in monitor form.
