It tells me that I need to unplug my router and wait 30 seconds, but I've done that 5x now. Any idea how to fix this issue?

I'm you have a separate modem and router, unplug both but the modem 1st, wait for your lights to become solid then plug in the router

If you have an all in one device (wifi modem) unplug that only

Okay will try that. It's not letting me connect to XBL at all.

If this doesn't work should I call MS or Comcast? I'm fed up with this issue been trying all week to get it fixed.

Call Xbox first, then Comcast if they can't help you.

Don't mess with DNS settings they should be automatic.

If you have multiple devices except the Xbox only its not your ISP.

Leave your settings at default

Weird. Exact same thing happened to me last night. I tried everything including calling my cable company (Verizon) to try to fix it and nothing. Then miraculously it fixed itself around noon today.

Are you in the Preview Program? Because I am and it started happening while I was playing the Halo 5 beta last night. I wonder if it had something to do with that?

This happened to my little brother's 360 this past week. After he downloaded a game, he kept getting d/c'ed and the error was about his DNS. After looking it up, XBox.com said to reset your network settings back to factory default, when I did this and restarted the xbox, everything worked fine. Can you reset you network settings back to default?
