I started FF7 remake on PS plus, but my sub lapsed, if I buy a physical copy will my save transfer?

Thanks

It should do, save files stored locally on your PS4 are not affected by PS+ subscription. You can always back it up yourself on USB anyway (unlike on PS5)

It should yes, go get it! 💪🏻🔥
Gaming is a weird industry where you can scam the consumers with lies and fake promises, and there will still be fanboys defending it.

Yeah it should be fine. You will likely have to uninstall the PS+ version before you can install the physical version though. But that's the game itself, not the saves

Did you read his post? FFVII:R was PS+, but his subscription lapsed.

It's a perfectly reasonable replacement.

Thanks, exactly this. I don't get much time on my PS4 so PS plus is not worth it and I am hoping to be able to buy a cheap physical copy and finish over Xmas..
