Good thing 90% of GTA 5 doesn't focus on stores.

So they can get that horrible habit out their ass of forcing the player to walk in their games.

GTA V every time you entered a store. You can't even jog. And RDR2 man let me tell this is where it destroyed my patience walking every time I wonder around the camp to get supplies or just to save. Along with every interior you enter as well.

Why do developers do this s***? Why Rockstar? It doesn't even help wish the immersion and becomes an annoyance.

So do you rather have loading screens all the time?

That still doesn't excuse why they should restrict movement when you enter a store.

That's irrelevant. Since you can run inside as soon as you shoot your firearm outside of the store due to the wanted level. And I even forgot to mention in RDR2 they restrict the player from pulling out any other weapons other than a revolver when you want to rob it.

It blows my mind how this form of pointless restriction of player movement doesn't bother everyone with how illogical it is. Especially if you want to walk in the store, it can be optional.

Are you going to jog around a store?

I've seen people doing it, especially in the bigger ones.

And the thing is, you can if you want to, and I have myself on occasion. In RDR2, you have zero choice. That's the opposite of realism.

Just speculation but i would guess that you can run into a store while shooting and having a wanted level, because in that case, the game does not need to load all the shop stuff. You can't buy and sell things and so the game does not have to load the items and all the possible interactions with clothes, weapons etc. in the background.

You guys are doing it wrong. You're supposed to charge full speed on horseback directly into camp. You're not gonna hit an invisible wall, so your momentum will get you at least halfway through the camp and short skiperdoodle to Arthur's commode. Don't worry if you trample anybody. Actually, aim for Micah if you can.
