How folks can justify being charged to use the internet on their consoles is beyond me.

The indie games they rent to you each month hardly makes up for such an outrageous charge.

Now my PS4 is solely for exclusive offline gaming experiences.

Yeah, and the best thing is that PC can't ever charge for online like Sony or Microsoft as it isn't a locked console owned by a single company.

PS+ used to be pretty good (after they overhauled it), gave out some amazing titles. Didn't have to have it for online, I just had it for the games each month. Now it's just s*** because Sony knows they can force people to pay for it.

Lol if you really think that's the reasoning behind getting you to fork out $60 a month.

If that were the case, as owners of PS4 consoles, we'd have the opinion of gaming online without those protections for free or paying $60 a year for it.

However, instead we get a mandatory $60 a year for online and if you don't pay it, your console is locked out of online multiplayer, a feature you've already paid $60 for when you first purchased the game.

No matter what way you look at it, you're being robbed.

it gaved amazing games more to the end of the ps3 life. Most likly it will be the same for the ps4 when the ps5 came out.

I'm not the one saying that PS plus is mandatory. Ball's in your court for that one.
