  3. If you summon help on a Souls boss, did you really beat the boss?

I say no. If you had to get help to beat a boss I don't think you truly beat the boss. You didn't have the skill to overcome the challenge.

I'm not straight bashing on people that summon or get summoned because it does add a fun aspect to the game.

Yes.

I don't summon though, at least on my first run.

Any runs after that are to help the Sun Bros get their medals and of course, allow them to enjoy co-op.

If the option is available and it's not a cheat command, all's fair.

Well with that perspective, people who don't summon the max amount of players before the boss and then have them leave DURING the boss didn't actually beat the boss since fighting alone, the boss is at its weakest.
See my opinion is superior because I refuted your statement without actually arguing anything. ~JDM_Jev

The boss died, didn't it? Don't let other people decide how you should and shouldn't play a game. As it stands we're reaching the point that the Souls community considers everything but "Sword + shield + fatrolling and heal spamming" playing wrong.

Not as properly as someone who beat the boss on his own.

Sure you are.

Anyway, don't care.

Yes, summoning is a perfectly legitimate game mechanic for the player to use.

But if you had to kill the boss solo and couldn't team up to overcome the challenge then you just don't have the skill to play with other people.
