It got auto renewed and I wasn't aware of it. I don't plan on using PS Plus that much anymore, and I thought my subscription would end after the year was over.

I guess it may be possible for Sony to refund you if you call them. I'm not sure if they will. Always make sure auto renew is off, or use psn cards instead of a credit card.

I guess I'll try calling them tomorrow, but from it sounds like, I'm guessing Sony won't give me a refund.

Ah this sucks.

I have experienced auto renew turning back on automatically for reasons unknown a couple of times already. But unfortunately, I was not able to catch it last time and it auto renewed for a year.

Sony most likely won't refund you and tell you that you are S.O.L. for the money. They will tell you to turn off auto-renewal and let it expire.

I know it's a greedy business tactic to have it how it is, but auto-renew really ought to be opt-in, not opt-out. Especially if they are honest about the whole "for the children" BS they keep spouting.
I like games. I play them. I have many. I keep them on a harddrive in my console. I'd like to have more of them. That's where PSN comes in.....

If they won't refund you the first time try to call back later and talk with a different rep. With some companies it makes a difference.
