Nioh can be significantly harder than Bloodborne, or just pathetically easy. Depends on how lucky you are and if you decide to cheese the game with Onmyo.

What do you mean by Lucky? Is there random stuff happening in Nioh?

The game uses a Diablo style equipment system with mostly random properties.

That sounds unappealing. I hate random s*** you can't control.

It's less random now than it used to be. There's a ton you can do to change the properties of weapon and gear to what you want.

Nioh is a cakewalk compared to Bloodborne. Anyone telling you different is just blowing smoke up your ass.

I mean no disrespect or anything, but I feel like this question was probably asked one too many times.

I'm sorry. I was seriously looking into buying Nioh. I'm new to this genre.

Bosses are harder in Bloodborne regular stuff is harder in Nioh imo. If only for the reason of "If you run out of stamina everything should be able to OHKO you. Instadeaths are 10/10 game design." - Nioh team

;_;

If you dont just spam away like me Nioh wont be difficult at all though. At least not for regular NG difficulty at any rate.

Ah, pardon me then. Though one thing unique to Nioh are the stances. Master stance changing to refresh your stamina bar, you'll be able to get through the game a lot easier (though there are probably better ways of getting through the game but I've stuck by what I've known). Though imo, get both if you can. Both are great games in their own right. Personally I prefer Nioh.

I just start playing Nioh and it's hard. But I can't tell about Bloodborne because I never play it.

What I can say is depend on the gamers. Some said Bloodborne is hard and some said Nioh is hard.

Personally, I think Nioh is easier. The game is a bit more flexible for you to change your specialisation if you don't like a specific character build. Plus, the game has lots of tools for you to use when it comes to fighting enemies and bosses.

Plus, Ki Pulse makes the game easier than Bloodborne, as it allows you to restore your Ki (like Stamina in Bloodborne) easily while fighting.

Nioh is good, but much more repetitive. I put about 20-25 hours in and couldn’t finish, too many times through the same stages.
