Oh. Guess I'll have to change that. What was that guys name? Jonathan right? The Guy who sells the secret of metamorphosis. :p I didn't know the personality would have as much an influence as people would actually diss a pawn for it. Every time I hired all I checked were the stats, skills and augments. Guess that's to be expected of a Novice. :
Yes, people actually diss a pawn base on the inclinations. My order is skills>inclination>equipment, look on the wiki and see what inclinations you prefer for your pawn. Avoid Guardian and be careful with scather. Scather pawns climb enemys and doesn't attack the most time, resulting in be totally useless against drakes for example.

Yes...this I have noticed. Plus they can be clumsy and fall to their deaths from all the jumping around.
Like real players then. ahah
Climbing sometimes can be a nightmare to me, given that I can easily attach myself to the interior part of the leg of a dragon, or get stuck, and instead of hitting, trying to maneuver with a camera that sometimes fights the player.
I've seen my pawn jump around, but that I've seen, I only saw him once jump gleefully to his death, along with the other pawns.
I don't have any complaints from my pawn in my party. He does his part well, and very rarely dies,
I play games for fun. Not to be hampered and annoyed by things I don't care about.
