i don't know what's it in the tank rotation that requires such intense focus, but sprinting around the arena with the boss behind was not enough to make them notice the main tank has been dead for 20 seconds.

this is my least favorite change in 5.0 and it makes no sense for players to have to eat s***, get a bunch of front positionals and interrupted casts in before going for the nearest cliff because they'll get killed by autos/TBs anyway, just because it's possible for some special individuals to tunnel vision while playing an offtank. lucid, merciful eyes, elusive jump and the like MUST be restored to their original states. let us help them.

forgot to add, if you play a job that didn't pass dps/hps quality control and thus will never generate enough enmity to be above #5 on the list this isn't applicable to you and your comment will not be necessary

As a tank player myself, I can "kind of" see where you're coming from but also get why they were removed. Considering it's only possible to really lose enmity if the main tank dies, there is never much of a situation where this sort of thing happens to be needed, although I've seen it in a few alliance raid runs when my healers let me die and no other tank takes over (World of Darkness, specifically, where you get LOTA/ST-only healers who think you don't actually need to heal) but in a scenario like that, would those skills really save you anyway? If another tank hasn't paid attention and taken over, they probably don't have their enmity stance on anyway.

If anything I've noticed the opposite in a lot of content where multiple tanks just leave their tank stances on at all times and fight for control of the boss, especially in alliance raids.

Hate having two tanks and the other just stares into the distance when the main dies.

Doubly annoyed when the healer prioritizes healing the schmuck who has hate now over reviving the guy who needs to be up asap.
