I don't like buying games through Steam because they're not DRM free.

Do you? Steam does count as DRM, even if it isn't SecuROM or anything on that level.

Unfortunately TC, unless it makes it to a future HIB, you are out of luck. You could originally order a special edition on the home site (though I think that was still downloaded through Steam, just with physical bonuses), but it is sold out.

With a lot of games on Steam (Especially Indie releases like Home), you end up simply downloading the .exe, and you can find that in the 'Common' directory. Just grab that, and you're DRM-free.

In fact, the only "DRM" Steam uses is the way the shortcut starts the game. :P

I forgot Desura exists.

Despite having it installed because of a indie bundle of some kind. I think one of the Royales?
