After several attempts at the casino matching game marking up a 4x4 grid, i finally got a perfect clear with a $1000 reward and a $1000 chest in addition to the $300 chest i got during the game. Have you ever happened to jump before said boss uses a certain special attack? I have not, but I did find a video where Sarah jumped immediately before the boss unleashed it. |
Not in this game, but in FFIV I have. I only got Dragoon to level 6 for White Wind and left it there for the rest of the game. I have only played the 2D versions (SNES, Advance, and PSP) where you have to jump when the boss shakes in order to avoid its special attack. Btw in 2D versions, it is possible to use the jump trick on a certain other boss who is supposed to target everyone but Cecil. I always do that trick whenever I get to that part, and find it funny when the boss still says "And you, Cecil! ("Farewell, Cecil") in Advance/PSP" even after Kain comes hurtling down unharmed, and thus call abilities (i.e. Jump) that let you avoid enemies' attacks "And you, Cecil!" tricks. Have you ever done this? |

You can apply the jump trick (or "And you, Cecil!" trick as I call it) whenever you have the opportunity to jump, even during the final boss. I've always done said trick during the boss fight that you mentioned. |
