New Details on A15, or Atelier Eska AND Rosy

This sounds pretty interesting, I hope we get a good story with more depth this time around. 2 playable characters and 2 sides of a story sounds like great potential to do this.

The Dynasty Warriors Engine can only be a good thing I think, with Ayesha I was suffering fps drops, especially in busy places and if the new engine can help towards fixing that I'll be happy.

The inclusion of Mana Khemia 2 seems somewhat bizarre though, maybe it's a hint at something else or maybe just because there's 2 characters? I hope this gets carried through to the West though if it gets localised. Europe never did see a release of MK2.

It all seems like shameless pandering in reaction to Ayesha's somewhat disappointing sales. Super moeblob heroine instead of following up on Ayesha's older and more mature design in order to appeal to the Arland fans. And then hey lets add Sterk version 2 and make him a main character in order to appeal to the female fans. Ugh.

The dual protag thing would be interesting but I really have no faith in Gust to pull it off. Atelier protags are already lacking development as it is, adding another one will surely not help matters.

I don't know what GUST and TECMO are smoking but i'm liking the changes. The inclusion of a male character will make my harem dream come true in game.

maybe ill go back to atelier series now, never liked to play as a female character.

They've been doing this since Rorona anyway really... while "fan service" doesn't appeal to me in the slightest so long as it's not in my face I can ignore it. You're right though, if we have to suffer this type of female lead the chances of any meaningful development is zero and it will be a rinse and repeat scenario.

Even if the story isn't great at least the gameplay sounds like it will be an improvement.

This sounds like Mana Khemia 2, with the selection between two characters, one a male and the other a female.

Ohhhhh it looks like they might have finally listened to me. Male main character, perhaps making things more like Mana Khemia - win win.
