Just wondering since I held off buying the PSP version for a little while, but I'd super much rather get this one.

Yes you actually need to own the game since you have to link your psp with the game on in order to load your save game onto the ps3 version every time you want to play it.

Wait, so you can't play it without the PSP version?

Lol, I was just kidding. You don't need the PSP version at all. You can buy the PS3 version and be done with it.

I never thought that some PS3 games would require the PSP version.

Well you thought very wrong. You shouldn't assume things, or at least if you're going to you should mention that you're assuming.

And if this is standalone then I am super happy and quite pumped, this might even be a day 1 PSN purchase for me.

The game is standalone.

The game is coming on a disk, but not sure about getting a PSN released. Why would you buy it on the PSN? You will be spending a lot more than importing it.

PSN release would just be quicker for me is all, though having the disc would be nicer. I guess I assumed this would be too much like Dreamy Theatre
