So fun fact when you fight ghetsis in the giant chasm he has a hydregon. this pokemon has the move frustration( the more the pokemon hates the user the more powerful it is) and it's frustration is maxed out. What the heck could've ghetsis done to it? ;( hydregon needs a hug

That seems likely. Ghetsis probably were pretty nice to the Pokémon he “had” 2 years before BW2.
Ghetsis had been fooling N for years. Ever since childhood if you think about it because his whole plan depended on N (and his power to convince people to let Pokémon go). They had a father and son relationship so you could say it was pretty close. That being said, Ghetsis couldn’t have had Pokémon at all because that would be against Team Plasmas principles. Principles N actually believed in.
Even if Team Plasma used Pokémon every once in a while, they imply those Pokémon’s weren’t theirs in the sense that they didn’t train those Pokémon (ironically the Pokémon Team Plasma used their Pokémon as tools), N could talk to Pokémon so he would know if Ghetsis treated his Pokémon badly.
Considering N sympathized with Pokémon more than humans, it’s very likely that N would’ve sided with Hydreigon in that scenario.
So without N keeping Ghetsis on a moral leash, he must’ve gone full psycho on his freshly caught Pokémon after the events of Black and White.
