Anyone got anymore definite information on how to get certain types?
Chancer seems pretty straightforward - Just pump your players full of shooting/striker combo cards
Sprinter and Dynamo seem to be quite easy to acquire and don't need a lot of training.
Creator, Explorer and Maverick I'm not sure about though. It seems like you need to advance through Sprinter first, like this for example:
Balanced > Sprinter > Explorer
Is this true, or is it possible to just head straight for Explorer/Maverick from Balanced?
Also I'm not sure whether Seeker is a good player type or not. From my experience, these players just run about all over the pitch, leaving massive holes and unmarked opponents in the defence. Anyone else can vouch for this, or find a way to use them correctly? They just seem too random and chaotic for me at the moment.
Explorer - Repeatedly giving Super Sub to a rookie will turn them into an Explorer. (This doesn't always work on experienced players however)
Worker - Repeatedly giving Iron Fist to a striker will turn them into a Worker.
Marker - Repeatedly giving Dogged Marker will turn defenders into Markers.
Backup - Iron Defence, Blocking and the Chain
Im not sure how to create Mavericks or Creators yet.
As for seekers, I find they are zonal defenders, they are not too bad, they do run around a little bit. If you don't like them, pump them full of Dogged Marker and they will turn into Markers, or make them Backups.
Personally I prefer one Backup and one Seeker / Marker, one who applies pressure and one who shields the keeper.
UPDATE: Ok I have some news, these combos works for fresh players for 100% of the cases but still I haven't figure it out all the types.
For DF Stopper = Iron defense + Blocking (easy and works every-time)
Seeker = The chain + Intercept + Covering + Covering
Backup = The chain + Blocking + Covering
Marker method 1 = Dogged Marker + Star Takedown + Dogged Marker + Dogged Marker + Dogged Marker (5 weeks training, 20% chance DF turn to a Worker instead however if you give him just Marking for the next week it will change)
Marker method 2 = Dogged Marker for 5 weeks
Note: it should work on the other position too, I tried on a MD and I got the same results.
I am going to work the others out by the end of today,if anyone cares though. This board is quite slow imo.
