YES, YES, I know some people think a keyboard and mouse is better, well I don't, I play a lot better on a controller, I'd like the 360 controller to have 2 more buttons, but this is what We got!

So, has anyone heard anything about 360 controller support? As of right now steam only says Single-player, and nothing els!

The videos I've seen all show 360 gamepad controls, and I'm assuming they were playing the PC version.

That's not what some people think. That's what some people know. Because it's a fact.

It must be terrifying in your world.

A sheet of buttons laid out on a plank is not better than a thing that's countoured to your hand with buttons all intended and laid out for a specific game related task. Yes, you get better accuracy with a mouse, but I don't think this game is going to be so twitch based that it can't be done.

edit: Just checked. Yes, you can use a 360 controller. While playing, it shows:

1 3
Q E

mapped to the dimensions. As soon as it detects a keypress from a 360 coontroller, it instantly switches to the triggers for the controller. I tried to take a screen shot, but as soon as I did, it detected the keyboard and switched back.

Haha yeah, okay buddy. If you say so. The fact is that the only thing first-person PC games have over a regular controller is more precise aiming. Movement is unnecessarily contrived using a keyboard. Nothing will ever top an analog stick in that respect.

WASD can be better than an analog stick sometimes. The same way sometimes a D-Pad is better than an analog stick.

They both have pros and cons. K/M gives you better speed and precision for aiming, but a joystick beats the pants off WASD for movement.

And frankly, this game is all about movement.

To be honest, I find the dimension controls kind of unintuitive on the keyboard. Inversely, aiming is a bit harder with an analog stick, I find the dimensions much easier to switch between on the controller.
Funny as hell, it was the most horrible thing I could imagine...

WASD is actually better than an analog stick a lot of the time.
