I don't have Theatrhythm--or a 3DS for that matter, but with the advertisements plastered around I can't help but wonder how to pronounce the title if I were ever to ask for it at a retail store. Normally, I'd think it'd sound exactly as written from the two words "theater/re" and "rhythm"--but I also get the feeling SE could do their creative thing and name it something way too fun for me to forget:

thee-AT-tra-rhythm

...or am I just trying too hard as a fan of the mainstream FF series and Dissidia? XD
Zack: Sephiroth! Why did you hurt Tifa!?
Sephiroth: Because if I hadn't, the player would never have heard her name spoken at least once in this game.~CC:FFVII

I've been told it's "THEET"-rhythm. It is most definitely not "theater", or "theatre"-rhythm. You don't get to jam invisible 'e's in there to make additional syllables. :)

That's still adding an extra "e" where there isn't one. Devs said THEET-Rhythm, that's how it's PRONOUNCED. One random E3 interviewee =\= correct.

Does it really matter?

If you pronounce it as it should be: Theatre Rhythm.

Or Theet-ryhythm. Both sound almost identical when put into a sentence.

It's quite clear that it's supposed to be pronounced Theatre Rhythm, they miss the e off to make it all one word to perhaps make it look smarter. If it were to be pronounced Theet-rhythm, why even bother making the first word be spelled theat, rather than theet? And coupled with the fact when theat and rhythm are placed together, it looks like Theatre Rhythm

I've been saying it like Thee-AT-rhythm and assuming it was right :/ but then, I'm British, and trying to say it as Theatre Rhythm doesn't really roll off the tongue when you have a British accent!

It does matter, it's spelled the way it is because it's a portmanteau, which DOES NOT change the spellings of the base words, just mashes them together and drops letters. You pronounce it as it's written and THERE IS NO SECOND E. It's THEET-rhy-them. Three syllables, not four.
