This is a list of all the operable vehicles in GTA V and their real life counterparts.

GTA has always been known for its classic norm about using fictional vehicles and fictional vehicle manufacturers that are all inspired by real life vehicles made by real vehicle manufacturers. Rockstar did a great job with the variety of vehicles they put into this game. They have cars inspired by many real life designs from major car manufacturers all over the world like the USA, Japan, and Europe and all sorts of vehicles on land, air and sea.

The purpose of this list is to provide the listings of all the vehicles in the game and what they are derived from in real life. It's a cool source of information for everyone who enjoys playing GTA V and also for those who like cars, trucks, bikes, boats, planes, etc.

I used several websites to aid in making this list:
- GTA Wiki (this site was a humongous help) for looking up all the vehicles and their real life counterparts.
- Wikipedia for further information on vehicles.
- I went even further into vehicle manufacturer websites to look even further into specific vehicles, specific models and versions of the base vehicle, model years, when they were produced.

This list took months to make from start to finish. I considered giving up several times because of how long and tiring it was, working on this. Especially when I had to work on the industrial/service vehicle section, that was incredibly boring. Also, I'm not perfect. I may have made an error; a spelling mistake or I incorrectly identified a car, I missed something, etc. It would be great if anyone could point out anything of their concern. I'll be happy to help!

I used the game's method of vehicle classification to divide this list appropriately. I hope you all enjoy it.

[ VANS, CAMPERS, PICKUP TRUCKS ]

- Bravado Bison - Based on numerous vehicles: Mainly, the Dodge Ram 1500 or 2500 - 4th Gen (2009-Present), Toyota Tundra Double Cab version - 2nd Gen (2007-2013), Ford F-150 - 12th Gen (2008-Present), Chevrolet Silverado GMT900 - 2nd Gen (2007-2013).
- Vapid Bobcat XL - Seems to be derived from a Chevrolet C/K - 3rd Gen (1973-1987) or a 2nd generation Ford Ranger (1993-1997).
- Brute Boxville - Step-in delivery van (like the ones UPS and FedEx use), probably a Ford or Utilimaster walk-in/step-in from the 2000s.
- Declasse Burrito - Chevrolet Express/GMC Savana - 2nd Gen (2003-Present), also resembles a 3rd generation Chevrolet Van, specifically the 1996 cargo model (no windows in the cargo area) there is also an older version of the Burrito from GTA IV available in this game, but is hard to find.
- Brute Camper - Class-C Motorhome - Design taken from the in-game Declasse Burrito, essentially recycling the design on turning it into a motorhome.
- Zirconium Journey - Class-A Motorhome that looks like a Vouge 26' Villa Grand (1975).
- Minivan - Dodge Caravan - 4th Gen (2001-2007), Mazda MPV - 2nd Gen (1999-2006)
- Paradise - This one is basically just an in-game Bravado Rumpo (Based on the Chevy Savana) that has been turned into a small camper, available in several custom beach themed paint jobs and has curtained rear windows.
- Brute Pony - Chevrolet Express/GMC Savana - 1st Gen (1996-2002)

- Vapid Speedo - Nearly identical to the Burrito (Chevy Express) in terms of appearance. Performance may be different for both.
- BF Surfer - Volkswagen Type 2 - 1st Gen (1950-1967) Aha, the iconic hippie van. There are either really old, rusty Surfers or clean, shiny ones if you're lucky enough to find one.
- Taco Van - Food truck. Design is taken from the in-game Brute Boxville (Ford/Utilimaster Step-in) and had the length slightly extended, making the Taco Van slightly larger than the Boxville. The name of the lucrative business utilizing this van is "Heavy Shelling - Kill that hunger!", its main thing seems to be serving mainly tacos.
- Bravado Youga - Dodge Ram Van - 3rd Gen (1994-2003)

[ MOTORCYCLES ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Dinka Akuma - Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade (2008-2010), Buell XB12S (2008) - This is a streetfighter version of the in-game Dinka Double-T.
- Western Motorcycle Company Bagger - This bike can be customized to look like a very wide array of real-life motorcycles, but the original unmodified Bagger seems to closely resemble a Harley-Davidson Touring Road Glide Custom (2013).
- Pegassi Bati 801 - Ducati 848 (2008-2013), Ducati 1098/1098S (2007-2009) and Ducati Desmosedici RR (2007-2008).
- Pegassi Bati 801RR - Professional racing version of the standard Bati 801.
- Nagasaki Carbon RS - Ducati 1199 Panigale (2011-Present), Erik Buell Racing 1190RS (2011)
- Western Motorcycle Company Daemon - Resembles a number of notable Harley-Davidson bikes, especially the Harley-Davidson Street Bob (2006-Present) or either the classic Roadster or the Super Glide line of bikes.
- Dinka Double-T - Appears to use the same base design as the Dinka Akuma with a different body frame. Also resembles an Aprilia RSV4 (2009-Present).
- Pegassi/Principe F**gio - Piaggio Vespa, likely a 1962 Vespa. Note that before the latest patch (IIRC) the F**gio was listed as being manufactured by Pegassi, now it is listed as being manufactured by Principe.
- Liberty City Cycles Hexer - West Coast Choppers CFL - Likely a 2000's era WCC.
- Principe Nemesis - Ducati Monster (1993-Present), Can't be sure exactly what model exactly. Perhaps a recent model year Monster 796. Also, the front fairing of this bike is similar to a Kawasaki Z750 (2004-Present).
- S***zu PCJ-600 - Honda CB400 Super Four (1992-2013), Honda CB600F Hornet/599 - 1st Gen (1998-2000). Note that the PCJ-600 is the longest-reigning rideable sport motorcycle in the GTA series, dating back to GTA: Vice City.
- Pegassi Ruffian - Ducati Monster 1100 EVO (2011-Present)
- Maibatsu Sanchez - Dirtbike/Dual-Sport bike resembling numerous different motorcycles, including but not limited to: Yamaha YZ450F - 3rd Gen (2003-2004), Yamaha DT/Malaguti XSM (2004-Present), Kawasaki KLR 650 - Original Dual Sport model (1987-2007) & U.S. Marines variant, there are two versions of the Sanchez available; 1) one being painted in a simple solid color, and 2) a dedicated Motocross-themed Sanchez, sporting different liveries like Sprunk, Atomic tires, Terroil/camouflage, and a solid green military paint job that makes the Sanchez look like one of the Kawasaki KLR 650's used by the U.S. Marine Corps.
- S***zu Vader - Kawasaki Z1000 - Early models (2003-2006)

Note: Yes, I had to censor some words so I could post this without getting modded. S***zu is the legitimate name of a Japanese vehicle manufacturer in this game. However, I don't think the mods care either way. Same goes with the F**gio scooter bike, and from this point on, there will likely be more words I have to censor so I don't get my hard work deleted by the mods.

- Airport Bus - North American Bus Industries (NABI) 2013 CompoBus used for transit routes in Los Santos Int'l Airport (LSX).
- Bus - Your essential city bus: Based on the North American Bus Industries (NABI) 2013 CompoBus. Serves in the Los Santos Transit. Comes in three color schemes representing the routes they take, exactly like the Los Angeles Metro bus transit system in real life: Red/White (Rapid), Orange/White (Local) and Dark Blue/Teal (Express).
- Dashhound - In-game version of Greyhound lines, resembling a Motor Coach Industries (MCI) Renaissance E-Series (1998-2014).
- Rental Shuttle Bus - Auto rental services airport bus. Uses the same in-game design from the Declasse Burrito. This bus is used by two car rental companies; Escalera Rent-a-Car and Touchdown Car Rentals; probably the game's version of Enterprise Rent-a-Car.
- Taxi - Ford Crown Victoria - 2nd Gen (1998-2011), taxi version used by the Downtown Cab Co. based exactly on the real-life Los Angeles LA Checker Cab Co. even using the same color schemes and paint design.
- Brute Tourbus - Like the Airport Rental Shuttle Bus, this vehicle also uses the same design of the Declasse Burrito. Open cabin design is based on the tour buses used by LA City Tours in real life. This vehicle can be found on Vinewood Boulevard and you can actually ride along on a tour as well.
- Trashmaster - Garbage truck... looks like a rear-loader design, used by the Sanitation Dept. of Los Santos... I can't really say much else, I am unable to find a specific model built by a particular company, though perhaps it might be based on a late 2000s Mack MP7 model made by Peterbilt. There's other companies that make similar garbage trucks, like Freightliner, CCC, Condor, International, maybe Chevrolet.
