Probably not. There's such a thing as going overboard with social/political commentary, and the game is what, nearly 4 years old now? To be current it'd have to be a bunch of folk complaining about the president while being otherkin culturally appropriating someones lack of privilege in a gender-open bathroom.

says the game came out on 2013. Damn, it does feel old already but hands down on of the best games I played in the last 5 years and that includes the current ones.

And that too, not that people didn't complain about Obama but the complaints tripled. haha, and the gender bathroom thing, almost nixing Obamacare, the whole BLM movement, pro wrestler sex tape leaks, etc...

With the exception of VC and SA, GTA games are full of satire on modern society.
