Yup. That would be fun.
- change something in a course using touch controls
- now stick it into the dock to properly play your level
- remove it from the dock because you want to change a small thing in your course
- stick it into the dock again
etc.

or
- not support touch controls at all and instead use analog sticks to change courses
- which would make it even worse

or
- keep using touch controls
- oh 2.5 hours of battery life are over, time to put it inside the dock again for recharging
- no Mario Maker for you. Time to go to bed now.

Instead of well - dual screen gaming.

The magic of terrible Nvidia hardware design. Who would have thought that designing it in a way that touch controls are only possible when it's not inside the dock would be really silly and make them effectively useless. Why even waste money on them.

Would really love someone from Nintendo + Nvidia explain their thought process.
