I checked wiki pages out of curiousity and WiiU actually has more 60FPS games. Not saying that 60FPS makes any game instaly amazing but it helps. Btw Mario Maker only few months away and im sooooo excited for it. How about you friends?

Yes, 60 FPS is great.

So my question for you is this- if a computer built in 1999 could run the original Doom at 60 FPS, is that computer more powerful than the PS4 and X1?

Why can F-Zero 64 run at 60 FPS? Think about that for a moment.

It is weaker.

It's only able to have more 60fps games because Nintendo isn't trying to make graphical showcases with tons of particle effects. With PS4 and XboxOne, the resources are put into different areas.

Mario Kart 8 certainly isn't one of them.

During gameplay we experienced the regular appearance of duplicate frames manifesting as a constant but subtle stuttering effect. Upon analysis we determined that the game suffers from extended clusters in which a duplicate frame is displayed every 64 frames. What this ultimately means is that, during normal gameplay, Mario Kart 8 continually drops down to 59fps. This may not seem like a big deal - most will probably not notice it at all, and it has zero affect on playability - but it has a noticeable impact on image fluidity that mars what would otherwise be a perfectly consistent frame-rate. And for us at least, once it is seen, it can't really be unseen.

TC Let's take a game that is using realistic beautiful looking graphics(Witcher 3 for example) and compare it to a game like Super Smash Brothers or Mario. The graphics of the Witcher completely outclasses any of the Wii U games that run at 60 FPS.
