How long do the WiiU tablet gamepad battery usually lasts?

How long do you go between gaming sessions, and do you plug it in between? The gamepad seems to lose battery charge pretty quick when not being used, even if you turn off the option so it won't randomly show ads on it even when your console is off. Too many games, not enough free time. |
Yes its normal. I have the charging dock and always put back on it when i'm not playing so its always charging. Doing that Its usually fine for when I play alone. However, when I have friends over I almost always have to plug it in to charge. The bigger battery will last me 4-5 hours at medium brightness level. The original battery would start flashing red at me after only 2-2.5 hours. The bigger battery is worth the money. Currently playing: Splatoon (Wii U), Geometry Wars 3 (XB One) |
3 hours give or take depending on the gamepad settings. I recommend buying the high capacity battery. It doubled battery life from about 3 hours to 6 hours. my last gaming session was like 3-4 hours... so I guess it's normal for it to be that short.... Well it's kind of a pain to have to plug it in during play time since I need to take some range between me and my big TV... |
