Words change constantly. The English language is practically a living breathing creature with how much change its words take on.

This is not to question your age or to be an attack, but how old are you? Because the word gay has been used to mean homosexual for more than 40 years.

That isn't insulting or an attack. I'm 28, the way we learned English during the early 90s at least in PR, that word meant happy. Mind it, that my teacher was like 62 years old at that time and we don't know S*** about English. Lol

You know, I was going to post a fairly sensible, even-handed message in this topic, but there's too much waffling from everyone to even bother.

Let me explain to TC.

Miiverse is FULL of Americans they make up like 70% of Miiverse rest are Japanese, European etc...

The majority of Europeans, Japanese etc. aren't prudes or bigots compared to how America currently is towards gays.


Furthermore Nintendo products are VERY popular in Southern states and Middle America Northwest and well... many of the people there are religious fanatical christians that think calling gay people the 3 letter F word as completely acceptable and not hate speech.

Miiverse is filled with children from these states.
These children that are like 12-14 see these posts get mad and report them and then after 10+ reports by bigot kids the message gets deleted.


Here is what you should do for some fun

report this to Kotaku, an LBGT news site OR an LBGT gaming news site.
They would love to post this story.


Secondly contact Nintendo by phone or by email and see if they can help you.

Then I went to the Youtube community and yeah'd a post that had Kate Upton kissing some other famous model.
