Anyone figured out a way to get around it? I was already on the fence about buying it, but after reading reports of the cap, I've pretty much crossed it off.

Doesnt change the fact that the game is challenging, long and good.

Consoles run@30fps btw... and it doesnt affect gameplay.

I haven't metered my frame rates, but if it's capped at 30, I certainly don't see any signs of it causing any problems. I get no lag or stutter at all, even on pretty high settings with a mere GTS 250 1GB.

@DrRukesl,

You actually call a 2 hr campaign long? Are you kidding?

Yes it does.  30fps sucks balls.  In order to make split second decisions, without overcompensating, 60fps is a must.  I played it on ps3, and it ran at more like 15-20fps.  It was unplayable.

Please get your eyes checked.  :roll:

I don't have the game, anyone had tried to disable v-sync on the game and also in the drivers?

Yeah I've forced V-Sync off, there's only slight tearing with the 30fps cap.

Going to try forcing lots of AA, seeing as we're stuck at 30fps anyway. :(
