My ps vita fell in water a few years ago. Yesterday, I found my ps vita and I was able to open it. I soon discovered that when I was in an application, most of the buttons don't work. I disassembled my ps vita and cleaned every thing using rubbing alcohol. Since that didn't work, I removed the bumper buttons and tried again. The buttons still don't work when I'm in an application. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you tried restoring the database in safe mode?

For some reason, I can't even access safe mode. I think it is because my bumper buttons don't work.

Bruh you annihilated your vita .
Within the timeframe that you had dunk your vita in water, the internal components for the vita probably either corroded or got fried.
The best you can do for now is to either replace certain parts and hope the vita will turn on that way or have someone try and fix it for you.
Although at this point it probably would be a lot easier just to buy a new vita.

Ur two years late in attempting a restoration. Get a used vita on Ebay and take care of it.
