The RAM makes little difference in most games. You can have DDR2 still running modern games at 1440p/4k, though it'll prevent you from using the full power of your GPU (which may or may not prevent you from hitting 60 fps).

But yeah, the CPU gets pretty taxing during fighting parts of the benchmark, even hitting close to 100% usage on my 8700k so you'll want the CPU in there before trying that benchmark.

It says 2100 MHZ, isn't this card supposed to be 1620 MHZ?

oh 1620 is just the base speed. It boosts up to 2100 if you overclock it a lot. I can hit about 2060 before it becomes unstable personally

So are these numbers normal?

I think it peaked at 70c after running unigine valley for 20 minutes.

I'll run the FFXV benchmark next week, testing GPU early because the vendor has a 15 day return policy so I want to make sure I didn't get a defective graphic card.

I use Rivaturner so I'm not sure if theres a difference there. If you haven't overclocked I'm not sure why you're getting a core speed that high though. Maybe you bought a model that overclocks itself?

I didn't install anything except the driver. Maybe the benchmark auto OCs.

Gigabyte Windforce standard variant so I doubt it's OCed by default.

Anyways, I'm not getting space invaders and I assume those numbers are normal so it's probably in working condition (for now).

Yeah, the numbers are fine (Though 2100 is on the high end of stability for overclocks), so as long as its working I wouldn't worry. If the benchmark program auto overclocks itself you actually lucked out with the GPU lottery since only about 1/4 of 2070s can maintain an OC core speed that high.
