Didn't even really mean to do that.

So, what's everyone up to on their Vita lately?

I'm playing Lone Survivor. Fun, but battery management gets old and breaks the feel the developer was going for. Everytime things get creepy I have to turn around, go home, and pop some pills just so i can go back and pick a squidstick off the ground.

The horror adventure Death Mark, bad gameplay but I enjoy the horror art and mood.

One Piece Unlimited World Red and Tokyo Clanpool. Both games are fun, sadly the DLC is no longer available for the game.

Nothing on the Vita front except for Final Fantasy IV, which I took a short break from. In other news, I bought the PS3 version of Persona 5 for $20.99. I figure that this will be the final PS3 game that I will buy, so my PS3 might as well go out with a bang. I also bought a Persona 5 theme for PS3 to commemorate this occasion.
Now Playing: Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection (PSP), Pokemon Ultra Sun (3DS), Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker (3DS)

I haven't done a lot of Vita gaming lately, but now that I polished off my file in Harvest Moon 64, I plan to get back to Secret of Mana on my Vita to finish that off too.

Battery, food, and sleep management all get real tiresome. After a while, it feels like tending to a Tamagotchi that's constantly whining it's tired and hungry.

Currently playing Tokyo Xanadu and Muv-Luv. I'm trying to find a game similar to DR and ZE on PC but the only one I found that really interested me was JP only. Any recommendations?

Vita related, still replaying that last dream stage for the Mask of Truth plat, I refuse to believe the last 2 drops are 25%, they feel more like 5% or something with the amount I've replayed this stage.

Mahou Shoujo Site ep 11... big spoiler for the ep: so the site admin said "I knew you were different from the other girls"... but she ends up an admin candidate... What? She saved her friends. I thought the whole Tempest was about killing all the other girls to become an admin, later backed up by the other psycho admin being a normal girl.
I feel there's another twist coming.

Yeah, Tamagotchi is a good comparison.

I get what they were going for, but rather than making it feel like I was trying to survive it just felt like a tacked on nuisance. Unlike, say, Resident Evil 1 and 2 where I was counting bullets and wondering if it was worth the resources to kill a given monster.

Nothing on Vita right now. Might have dropped FF3 on PSP too because it's so damn boring and uninteresting.

Finished The Surge on the PS4 and thought it was surprisingly good. Lacking in art, level design, enemy placements, bosses, atmosphere etc. compared to From Software's game but mostly good mechanics and satisfying gameplay. I had a good time but it's not the most memorable game I've played.

Gravity Rush 2 started out super slow and many of the side missions are downright dull or frustrating in their design. The main missions have gotten progressively better though and some of the art is spectacular. The online treasure hunts which will be shut down next month are pretty fun too, at least when non-idiots take the pictures. Enjoying the game but there are rough edges and bad game design in there.

Silent Hill: Downpour is patched and ready to go after that. Also starting a month of $1 #xboxgamepass tomorrow or the day after with the primary goal of beating State of Decay 2. The first game was rough but challenging and satisfying to play.

Currently not watching any cartoons.
