So I would love to get some advice on what long turn based(mainly) jrpg game I should dive into next. Im on a mission to not buy anymore games until I clear out the 100+ game backlog I currently have.

So first I will list the games I do have, whether digital or physical.
Nep Rebirth 1-3
Nep vs Sega hard girls(sealed)
Atelier Arland trilogy
Atelier eschatology
Atelier shallow plus(sealed, so might keep it that way)
Demon Gaze
MeiQ
Tales of hears R
Darkest dungeon
SOA hollow fragment
Child of light
FF X-2
Those are the main ones

Besides those, I do have
Disgaea 3
God wars
Breath of fire IV
Legend of Dragoon
D3 and God wars are games I would play in multiple short burst, so I won't consider them for a big jrpg to dive into.

For neptunia, I wouldn't know which one to play, as I'm not worried about starting in the middle of a trilogy, same as atelier, as I just figure out stuff as I go.

But with so many games in my backlog, and me having adhd, it's hard to figure out which one to play all the way thru without jumping around.
Discuss this with me, thx

Also, if I can get a smaller list, I could make a poll to finish up with the final decision. I am interested in all of these games, or I wouldn't have bought them.
I thought since most of the topics here are not the greatest, this could get some discussions going on with fellow vita gamers about these games.
And what game gets decided on, I will 100%

I am working on a couple of other games, but they are games like YS VIII and several indie games, and those can be played in short burst without really needed to focus too much on story, plus having a two year old son makes it harder

Tales of Hearts r or Escha Logy

or if you really want to play a great turn based JRPG just buy Cold Steel 1 and Cold Steel 2....that will last you a good 160-200 hours
Currently Playing: Bravely Default (3DS),Final Fantasy X HD(Vita), Tokyo Xanadu ex+ (PS4)

I'm not going to add more to my backlog, I'm sure cold steel is great, just got too much now to add even more.

Any particular reason u would recommend tales or escha from all those games?

Play the Nep games girls. The ones you have are solid turnbased rpg but are just long enough to finish maybe one a week.

The Atelier games have a ton of endings and requirements so you'll be playing them for a while depending on how much you want to see

Tales of Hearts and also okay. Little short for a Tales game.

If you want to get rid of backlog, do what I did. Sell mediocre games that you don't really really want to play. You don't have time for all games you're "interested in". Use the money to buy fewer but better games. A 100+ game backlog which consists of a ton of RPGs isn't something you'll get rid of in a year, or five even unless you have a ton of gaming time. Play only the best games, it'll make you happier.

Do what I do:

Grab the shortest games and games you're least likely to enjoy first. Leave stuff you know you'll spend a s***ton of time on playing and replaying for later.
When you're in a s***ty mood because the games kept missing your taste, then grab something you're hyped for as a palate cleanser.

I 100% agree with u. But the only ones listed above that I have physically are, Sega hard girls, atelier shallie, demon gaze, disgaea 3, god wars and ys viii.
I only have like 20 physical vita games.
I had a big problem with buying any cheap game from psn flash sales, which I don't do anymore. I know I most likely won't even get around to half of these games in the next few years

Of those, I'd say pick between the Arland Trilogy (starting with Totori), FFX-2, or Hollow Fragment. imo those are the best on that list.
