This tweet, for the people who may not have seen it:
https://twitter.com/shahidkamal/status/411173229651558400

He tweeted it almost 3 weeks ago, did it ever get mentioned again anywhere? Or did we at least ever find out what game/developer it was about?

Shahid the Game

Backstory: Shahid Kamal is a career diplomat serving as the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Federal Republic of Germany since September 2007.

Before coming to Berlin, Kamal was Additional Foreign Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He previously served as Ambassador to Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvia. He worked as a senior aide and advisor on foreign and defence affairs in the Prime Minister’s Office.

He handled economic and administrative affairs at the as member of the Pakistan Mission to the United Nations in New York. He served as advisor in the Organisation of the Islamic Conference in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He also held diplomatic assignments in Paris and Washington.

Plot: Following the massive earthquake in Kashmir in October 2005, Ambassador Kamal was appointed Chairman of the Committee set up by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to build a High school for girls through voluntary donations by officials of the Foreign Ministry in the earthquake affected area of Chinari, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

A unique school in terms of its design, construction and amenities was built successfully in this area in less than one year after the earthquake. The school caters for 150 female students and has excellent facilities continually increasing demand for admissions from neighbouring villages.

The player-named main protagonist is a high-school student who moved into the countryside from the city for a year. During her year-long stay, she becomes involved in investigating mysterious murders while harnessing the power of summoning PSVita Titles. The game features a PSVita game forecast system with events happening on foggy days.

The plot of Shahid the Game was inspired by the work of mystery novelists owing to its murder mystery premise. The rural setting was based on a town on the outskirts of Mount Fuji and intended as a "'nowhere' place" and is the central setting to have players sympathize with the daily life of the characters.

The developers added many in-game events to prevent the game from becoming stale. During the localization, numerous alterations to names and cultural references were done to preserve the effect through translation, but some Japanese cultural references were altered or removed.

I would strongly consider playing that game!

Seriously though, wasn't it about Final Fantasy X? I can only assume that, since about three weeks ago was when we started getting the influx of FFX topics.

Bah, sounds like a complete ripoff of Persona 4.

It was treated as spam by the developer but you're getting over 100 indie games next year so stop being so entitled.
I own a Vita and a Wii U, bite me.

It was probably about a Tales of game. And then it will be localized, and sell like ass, and that will be the end of that.

Holy crap. That game looks nasty.

I just checked amazon and there's no game for import? Is it not released yet or something?

Word is that it got cancelled. It had really nice graphics for a psp game.

I guess it could get revived for Vita. Stranger things have happened.
