Oh, by the way. As hinted by the period's name, be a bit prepared to get your hearts broken :P
“Well? Is everyone here?” Roke asked as he gets up from the ground, tightly covering his injury. “Oh my god!? Roke!” Sophia cried and runs to her husband, “Y… You’re bleeding so much!” “Nah… I’ve been through worse. Don’t worry about me,” Roke replied and continues observing the room, “… There are new faces I didn’t see in the last meeting, huh?” “Hey, Roke,” the freelance photographer spoke up, waving at his old friend. “Hey, what’s up, Greg?” Roke replied, still making a head count in the room, “Wait… Aren’t we missing a few faces too?” “… Yeah. They got Kevin,” Greg said with a sad voice. “What?!” Refia cried and quickly looks around the room, “W… Where’s… Flute?” “…… I’m sorry, Lady Refia.” The short haired priestess falls to her knees in front of Refia. “I… I couldn’t protect your friend.” “What the?! Flute’s dead!?” Daniel uttered. “No…” The purple haired girl falls on her knees as well. “Sensei…,” Shinichi whispered, pounding his fist onto the ground. Yoshiki, who has already woke up, sits at the corner with a bitter face, saying nothing. “… And Avery as well,” Teal added, sobbing. “Wait, what? Avery’s gone!?” Keika asked. “What!?” Sophia cried, “N… No way… This is a joke, right? Please tell me you’re joking, Teal!” “I’m afraid not, lady,” Lain spoke up, leaning on the wall just next to Teal. Not knowing what else to do, the emerald eyed lady turns back to her husband. “Roke, we can save her, right?! We can still bring her back, right!?” Sophia cried, repeatedly shaking him. “…… Well, we can bring her out of this school after we crush it… But I’m afraid people who are dead will remain dead,” he replied with a bitter face. “No way…,” Sophia uttered breathlessly.
“What are you lots making such a big deal out of?” All of the sudden, a cruel voice spoke up from the front of the room, attracting the players’ attention. “You lost four players while I lost five pillars. That was a pretty cheap trade off,” said the girl in red, the owner of the voice earlier.
