Read the stickies here on the board and be sensible.

ALWAYS follow the mods installation instructions, and only install one mod at a time.

ALWAYS follow the mods uninstallation instructions.

ALWAYS have a clean (not modded) back-up save.

ALWAYS make a back up save before installing a new mod.

Read the manual and be sensible.

ALWAYS make constant saves in new slots, so you can revert if the game breaks itself.

ALWAYS assume the game will crash, even vanilla, because it is probably about to cra-

ALWAYS have a clean (freshly installed) back-up game.

ALWAYS exercise extreme caution when trying to play even a vanilla Bethesda game.

WARNING: Reading the TOS for any game is a sensible thing to do

But not always

Read Computers for Dummies and be sensible

Always Have some reading glasses handy if you don't have 20/20 vision

Always Be aware that tampering with your game can break it

Always Realise that not everyone on here is an idiot

Always Remember that Skyrim needs heroes, GameFAQs is fine atm

This is an attack on my friend, grossnegligence. If the mods are Doing their jobs this wouldn't happen.

I generally agrees with what he says.

MPC4UTUBE couldn't be more wrong. I felt that it was not clear enough to the people modifying their game, that it may in fact be harmful to do so.

So i thought a sticky that is to the point on the main page might at least have it's title read and taken heed of.

Those of you who attack grossnegligence and say that mods don't make your game unstable don't understand mods, and there is a 98% chance they never will. Such posts as these are off topic and trolling.

Say what you will about what you do to your game, but when things go bad and become unfixable you have no one but yourself to blame, even after being warned.
