  1. every Gold coin is 0.01 weight and there are Banks again like in Daggerfall. can use letter credits to pay Merchants and vice versa. Also Wagons (portable chests) and horse armor, screw u todd if you dare sell it as dlc😏
  2. player can own a ship that doubles as a home.
  3. player homes with many chests. i find it stupid that there's only 1 chest in each vanilla skyrim home😂
  4. essential npcs for important quests. like why isn't Wujeeta in riften essential? if she dies, no riften thane, no honeyside/house carl. (yes i know u can buy it after Maven's the jarl but missing House carl tho)
  5. no children. plz no more unkillable annoying kids.
  6. a faction eg. Worm King/Mannimarco necromancer cult that disables essential status in npcs, turning them killable, allowing one to kill everyone. cool for genocidal characters😆 satisfying those that complain oblivion and skyrim sucks because u can kill anyone even a god (Vivec) in Morrowind.
  7. blocking for spellswords and dual wielding
  8. self built homes in world spaces. kinda like fallout 4 settlement building and hearthfire dlc
  9. Most importantly, make every daedric quest like The Black Star. allowing players to f*** over daedric princes and get rewarded for making "moral" decisions or being more evil than the daedra to the point that we dare to sabotage godlike beings😂
  10. interesting reputation system like in Daggerfall and New Vegas. making friends with a faction is also offending some other faction(s)
  11. last but not least, destruction magic should have Armsman perks so it won't fall off in higher difficulties.

also, WOW. i hate how people said skyrim ruined the franchise. it's actually Morrowind!!!

they removed all the cool s*** like Banks, wagons, reputation system like Fallout New Vegas' which are all present in Daggerfall.

Skyrim's similar to Morrowind. they're both superior to Oblivion in my opinion.

hopefully it's a sign that Redfall's similar to Daggerfall which is REVOLUTIONARY for its time.

bringing the series back on top in the openworld category

If currency has a wieght, NPCs like Parker Quinn in Fallout 4 only genuine would have been useful.

Owning a ship would have been a good thing. I thought with the Dark Brotherhood rather than pretty much want you to end it, what if The Emperor offered you your bounty in Solitude cleared and the Katariah as a player home? Like he tells you to kill Amaund instead and return to own the Katariah. Doing this would make you permanent enemies with the Brotherhood. Could have a NPC to talk to on board that can move the ship to Dawnstar, Solitude or Windhelm, the holds that have ports.

a charge card, is elder scrolls technology that advanced yet? well it's 200+ years into the 4th era so i can totally expect some technology advancement, tired with all the magic s***. magic got restricted by stupid mages guild and u certainly can't do banking with magic😂 too many loopholes!!

know what would've truly epic? being able to rebuild japhet's folly and turn it into the dovahkiin's private worldspace. funny how lazy Bethesda can't add (essential) npcs that ferry you to and from japhet folly. they just disable fast travel so it won't trap people there but u cannot never return.

yeah the Katariah should be able to sail into Japhet's folly too. perhaps hire sailors and assign a First Mate just like Blades Recruitment so one can travel to Solstheim, Windhelm, Solitude and Dawnstar freely on their own ship. heck, Velehk Sain should join your ship if u haven't summoned him before getting the ship.

anyway did you realize Amaund Motierre's 2nd appearance at The Bannered Mare is a fake body double? he looks a lot different within a short time. different nose type and is hairier looking. so i doubt it will piss off just the Dark Brotherhood, probably the elder council and Sithis too.

Maybe not a Charge Card exactly, but similar. Delvin can give you a letter of credit. Pretty much what Quinn pretends to offer.

feel bethesda should just reuse whatever in the existing lore. the letter credit from Mallory is actually a Shoutout to Daggerfall, if the shopkeeper doesn't have enough gold, they will give you that. Indeed, the Elder council amulet is so expensive that Mallory has no spare change.

or even hire Michael Kirkbride again so Emil Pagliarulo will stop butchering the story with his silly "keep it simple stupid" writing philosophy as said in a presentation😂

heck i'm not a kirkbride fan but he's the lesser evil.

A butchering example:

Kyne and Shor aren't Kynareth and Talos/Tiber Septim.

banning talos worship has no real consequence, there was an Imperial legion nord in sovngarde.

banning Shor worship means No Sovngarde for Nords. that will make the Stormcloaks a lot more reasonable and less racist.

Funny how you say that, given that Daggerfall definitely had kids. For example, some of the Dark Brotherhood couriers in Daggerfall were implied to either be children or have the appearance of such, like Babette.

nope, it just says young street urchin that's deaf and mute. which means some brotherhood person used a middleman messenger that can't leak important information.

adding kids in Skyrim is just weird. there are no kids in Morrowind and Oblivion. no physical appearance in Arena and Daggerfall too. yeah, there is only a mention in Daggerfall as said.

what makes it worse is that NPCs like Sinding can kill children but the dragonborn who can kill dragons, giants, entire bandit camps can't harm children.

yes, violence against kids in video games is a bad thing but it makes the main character seem like a weakling.

even if they're an evil character who serve all the daedric princes especially Molag bal (who is a serial rapist who turned women into vampires and Mehrunes Dagon who is a chaotic evil christian devil) and make all the worst possible moral decisions.

they're powerless against children, that's anti climatic.

thus, No Kids in Redfall is definitely the best controversy free decision.

let the modders add the kids if anyone misses them

No, keeping children in and invulnerable is the sensible thing. A world without anyone under 18 feels weird and less immersive, and the only people who notice they're invulnerable much are weirdos who want to kill kids.

children shouldn't be in violent games

just download mods if you want children.

bethesda is limiting freedom in an open world game by adding annoying little indestructible buggers who tell u "here to lick my father's boots" or "what are you LOOKING AT".

although there are nice kids like Aretino and the Orphanage ones, it's still better to limit children appearance in Elder scrolls.
