So, dual daggers, bound bow, light armor. I really like the idea of a completely self sufficient fighter, which means mage armor, but MAN that's a lot of perk points you have to sacrifice for it to really work. And we're already burning perks galore just to get to assassins blade and shadow warrior, which are no brainers for this build, right?
Eh, screw mage armor. With histskin and alchemy, who needs it anyway.

I’m actually playing that right now.

An Argonian Assassin that specialises in Bound Bow... Who also happens to have a little snack on the bodies he leaves behind!

My biggest problem is that my lack of magic outside of Bound Bow means I don’t have Silent Casting. Casting Bound Bow frequently gives away my hiding spot, which means I lose my cover and my meals are harder to get.

By strange coincidence, I am also doing a stealthy Bound Bow Argonian. Mine's more of a thief, collecting the Stones of Barenziah, but he allows himself Muffle (and eventually invisibility) which will eventually allow him to get Silent Casting. His only use for Alchemy is to make invisibility potions until he gets the spell.

Eventually I hope to use Spider Scrolls from Dragonborn, too. They seem stealthy, but I haven't used them in years, probably.

Is that what those albino spiders are for? Those things are so much creepier than frostbites

It's what the albino spider pods are for. White Ridge Barrow on the Dragonborn DLC island. You make the ones you use with gems and spider pods. Amethysts Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds for elemental ones, Dwarven Oil for the oil ones, Soul gems for the mind control ones.

As for how well they work... Honestly? I don't remember. I used them briefly on the first character I made after getting the dlc, and kept meaning to go back and try them again. I think of them like cheap scrolls for a non caster. Some are rune spells, some fire balls, some lesser summons. I want to try the mind control ones again most; they seem... Creepiest. I just hope they work like I almost remember. And are silent. Or can become so with Quiet Casting. I should find out soon enough.

Definitely do the Murder Mystery quest in Windhelm and make sure to use a guide so it doesn’t glitch up and you get the Necromancer’s Amulet. It’ll mean you can use Bound Bow without actually needing to invest in Magicka. There’s also the tome for Bound Bow in an early Bandit Fortress, so you won’t need to level up Conjuring either.

Conjuration is definitely the strongest magic. It's going to be a real challenge for me to not throw an atronach at every fight ;) really I love the idea of a lone wolf type character, but man, they're so useful

Favorite outfit so far? My two handed Nord conjurer wears morokei, heavy Dawnguard armor, ebony gauntlets, and my favorite part: falmer boots. That badass is running through crypts barefoot!

Enchant is currently 97 on him, so soon I'm going to enchant a new badass set... I'm thinking Daedric greatsword w chaos and paralyze...armor gets fortify heavy and health.. Fortify two handed and carry on the gauntlets... Stamina regen and resist fire on boots. That's what I had in mind anyway

For the Argonian, I was thinking of trying shrouded... I almost never do light armour so it might be fun to try. The nightingale armour seems pretty badass too. What's the best assassin gear? Assuming dual daggers, bound bow, illusion, sneak
