I need a tablet that is at least 9 inches. I am looking for the cheapest tablet that I will be using to read comics and books. Would an Amazon Fire tablet work well for this? I have a bunch of comics from Humble Bundle and need a tablet to read them.
I read that the Fire tablet could not read epub or cbz files though. That is why I was curious due to many of the humble bundle comics being epub files.
It's an android tablet dude. There's should be plenty of epub and the like readers on the amazon app store. But that aside you should definitely get the play store or at least set up side-loading on there so you can get all android apps. fbreader is a good free ebook reader. Perfect Viewer is the best offline comic reader on android. But you definitely want to get Tachiyomi on there. You can read any manga/comic with the right sources installed, free and no ads.
For most of people's needs, Amazon Fire tablet are just fine.
this i kinda regret buying the galaxy tab but luckily i got it on black friday for dirt cheap
i only use my tablet for youtube and web browsing(and the occasional ebook when theres a sale)
i thought id play games on it but its so awkward and im so used to the 3ds/vita
This is why I don't want to spend a ton of money on a tablet, I just cannot see myself using it like I would use my phone or a computer. I just have issues reading ebooks or comics on a computer screen and I would prefer a bigger screen than my s8.
