I'm using my Spy on a quest and my Monarch decided to go for a walk in the woods in which he simply will not return. I need the Monarch available to turn in the next part of the quest. Are there any console commands to reset a Sims location? So far my only option has been to wait for the quest to fail, and my Spy to be killed for failing, and considering my Spy is the Sim I've used the most I'd rather that not happen.

I think you can cancel the quest from the Kingdom screen by clicking the quest scroll. There shouldn't be any negative consequences (besides time lost and the quest points you spent to start it) and then you can take a quest to control the king and get his stupid royal butt outta da forest.
I should not walk so a child may live.----http://www.spore.com/view/profile/Catsimboy
Does anyone know of a way to reset a sim other than just quitting the quest? In my game the sim that is stuck is the one i'm controlling, she is just standing there and won't do anything. I really don't want to quit the quest though because i'm about 99% of the way done with it and put a lot of time and money into it so far.
Bump. . . .anybody have any ideas about unsticking a sim? :(
I refuse to start over after I put so much time into my kingdom already, especially when there is no promise it won't just happen again at some point. Was this the biggest waste of money ever? Why would EA leave out the single most useful cheat in the history of the sims? (resetsim)
Background: I was working on the Dangerous Minds quest and got to the point where my monarch requested his servant to fetch a ghost costume from the forest. Upon returning, the servant got stuck in the forest entrance. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get him free.
Solution (All steps I took to free him, whether or not they are all necessary is undetermined): 1. Save and quit. 2. Go to quest menu then exit 3. Load current quest. 4. Click on stuck Sim. 5. (If possible) Switch to secondary hero and click on trapped sim. 6. Duel nearby guard. 7. Stuck Sim should be free.
THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON THE FOREST! I CAN'T VOUCH FOR ANYWHERE ELSE!
I tested this twice and both times freed the Sim. I THINK it has to do with the Guard standing near the forest entrance.
I can't resist your hot bod. - Snowcat21 http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h165/revall/star%20wars/thIncestisWeird.png
