This game is really dull and stupid. Why are heavy attacks so damned effective? Why are the environments so bland and repetitive? Why do you have to break candles to restore hearts (it's really stupid in a 3D game and breaks the flow)?
It seemed like this guy really just hashed together a 3D translation of his 2D games without considering much about 3D design.
I'm not to the first boss yet, and I don't know if I'll play long enough to get to him. At least the pacing is ok, but I'm sick of fighting really braindead mobs.
The music is very nice though. The drums are creative and the use of the harp (instrument setting on the synthesizer) is refreshing.
