Not such a good game for people who like to think. Too many jumping challenges, mapping challenges, and poorly marked secret doors. Not enough subtle or complicated puzzles.

All that backtracking to unlock doors, ugh! Any kid can draw a map and use that to remember where the entrances and locked doors are and what their colors are, but what's fun about that? And the jumping stuff is just make-work. If you couldn't easily get infinite life and magic from the bats and trolls, then it'd be much more interesting. As it is, the life and magic meters are almost meaningless. This is a World of Warcraft-style rendition of Solstice: one in which the main resource provided by the player is time, not skill. Too hard for the aforementioned kid, too tedious for a skilled adult... maybe good for a less skilled, extraordinarily persistent adult.

Lovely graphics and sound, though. And the fights are kinda fun.
