Nobody responded to my last post (and the thread was closed automatically). Obviously, nobody has any idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the "Standing Knee Kick", since there were no replies. So, I have uploaded a youtube video showing the elusive "Standing Knee Kick":

Am I the only one that figured out this move? My brother and I grew up playing Double Dragon 2 for years when it came out, and eventually figured out this move by accident.

Oh, and this was my original post in the closed thread, which explains how to accomplish this move:

"I noticed that none of the FAQs or web sites mention the standing knee kick in their list of moves. Does anyone know about this move? I am NOT talking about the flying knee kick or the knee smash while holding the foes hair, but rather the knee kick performed while standing still. In order to perform it, you have to first knock an enemy down to the ground; then, right as they are about to stand back up (the timing has to be perfect), press the punch button. You have to be a certain distance away from them for this to work - not too close or too far away. If done right, you will knee the enemy instead of punching. If you knee them two times in a row right as they stand back up, they will go right back down to the ground.

I'm assuming people know this move, but none of the FAQs or DD2 web sites mention it... It is more difficult to perform than any other move because of the timing involved, but if you get good at it, you can keep putting the last boss back on the ground with no chance of him getting back up!"

Yeah, I know that move. It seems to happen more often in my games when the enemy is about to stand up after getting knocked down.

Mechanics FAQ refers to it as the Knee Stun:
