Well, that is different.

Half-way through the final dungeon. Better late then never to know how the save system works.

Yeah I was playing it and was like, "wait... I can't save?"

I like it but seems a little funky to me.
Currently playing Lunar: Dragon Song, Xenoblade Chronicles, FFVII, and Enchanted Arms

Beat it today. Not bad, but the final boss was weak. The encounter system was annoying at time since there were times where I would take one step and be forced into a battle while other times I could take twenty steps with no battle.

Yeah, its kinda weird. I've had instance where I went into camp menu and in leaving it would wind up in battle without touching anything. I have no doubt that they packed the cart tight just to get everything in there.

He's definitely weak. Have you experimented with the talismans at all? Did you like the prank the programmers played with the pillow?

I think what I like most from this game is the music. I ripped the collection so I could play it in winamp. It's timed oddly, but I still enjoy it.

Of note, the save system would fail in virtually any RPG you could name. But one thing I always did, when I was younger, when I wanted to avoid battles is I would turn the game off and start right back up where it left off.

I played through Defenders of Oasis.
I'm using the Defenders of Oasis story as a model for my novel. It might turn out to be quite long.

Talismans revive dead characters, right?

Yes, but it does other stuff too. It's actually very game breaking. The game doesn't outright tell you, but what it does depends on your party's condition. Got dead people, everyone is revive. Got injured, everyone is restore. If neither of those conditions are met, then it cuts any opponents remaining health in half.

I thought about giving you the option of finding out for yourself, but opted for this instead. You can find out for yourself, or not.

That's cool. I'll have to try that, but for now I am in the middle of Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya. Master Mage is owning me with blaze 3.

I've only played that game once or twice a long time ago. All I can really say is good luck.

Beat it but mainly was due to luck.

The mage for some reason did not use freeze 3, and I was able to beat it before its next turn.
