I've been collecting many of the lesser-known first party published games on Nintendo systems (for example Alleyway, Balloon Kid, Radar Mission, Mole Mania, Solar Striker, Baseball, Play Action Football, Golf, and Tennis) and I ran into this game. I didn't know Nintendo published a portable tennis game between the original launch window Tennis and Mario Tennis on GBC.
This was made by Pax Softnica who also made Volleyball, Wrecking Crew '98, Balloon Kid, Mole Mania, Wave Race GB, and assisted on Donkey Kong '94, Pokemon Snap, and the first two Mother games. A very eclectic resume so it's no surprise they randomly made a tennis game too.
Anyway, I'm a big fan of those portable tennis games so this is like discovering the missing link in their evolution. I love finding obscure stuff like this. I think I'll pick it up.
Also, this has one of the greatest titles screens I've ever seen! Love it.
Space... what is the point of it? You have no idea. This is the Enterprise: a big circle with a porch. I'm the Captain Picard. Come with me!
