Hi Guys
Based on a thread I saw for the original game, I decided to set a few challenges involving limitations to deck building. Some are extremely difficult. Please try them! Let me know how you decided to go about them. If you want to see the decks I used, I put my decks in spoiler tags. Let me know any suggestions!
I put theses challenges in order from easiest to hardest. To complete a challenge you must complete what I call THE GAUNTLET. That means beating all 9 trainers in the sealed fortress IN A ROW without losing or changing your deck. If you lose or want to change your deck you must start again.

Challenge 1: No Coin
No attacks usable by any Pokemon in your deck may use a coin. No trainer cards may use a coin.

I went with a pretty standard Aerodactyl Haymaker, this is a very strong deck. Cleared out the sealed fortress without much difficulty.

Pokemon
4 x Scyther lv25
4x Hitmonchan lv33
2 x Aerodactly lv28

Trainers
1x Energy Search
3x Professor Oak
1x Fossil Excavation
4x Itemfinder
4x Computer Search
4x Bill
1x Nightly Garbage Run

4x Energy Removal
2x Gust of Wind
2x Mysterious Fossil
4x Pluspower
1x Switch
1x Scoop Up
1x Poke Flute
1x Goop Gas Attack
1x Here Comes Team Rocket!

Energy
3x Grass
8x Fighting
4x Double Colorless

Challenge 2: Gen2 Pokemon Only
You may only use the 3 generation 2 Pokemon in your deck: Lugia, Marill and Togepi.

You should be fine as long as you focus on getting Lugia powered up ASAP.

Pokemon
4x Marill
4x Togepi
4x Lugia

Trainers
1x Energy Search
4x Professor Oak
4x Itemfinder
4x Challenge!
4x Computer Search
2x Pokemon Trader
4x Bill
2x Nightly Garbage Run

2x Energy Removal
2x Gust of Wind
1x Full Heal
1x Switch
2x Scoop Up
1x Goop Gas Attack
2x The Rocket's Trap

Energy
8x Water
4x Double Colorless

Challenge 3: No two cards of the same name (Basic Energies exempt)

So this one is a bit of a haymaker type deck; Scyther, Magmar and a wide variety of techs. Hungry Snorlax works well early game and Lugia is a power hitter. First time I've ever used gambler before lol.

Pokemon
Scyther lv25
Magmar lv31
Moltres lv40 (Firegiver)
Aerodactyl lv28
Mr Mime lv20 (Neutral Damage)
Lickitung lv26
Kangaskhan lv40

I apologize for the double post! These decklists are long and forced this message to go over the character limit.

Challenge 4: Flip City
Every attack usable by any Pokemon in your deck must require at least 1 coin flip in all circumstances. Every trainer card must also require at least one coin flip. No special energy except Double Colorless.

Managed to finish the gauntlet the first time with this deck. Tauros is a surprisingly useful card. The most vital flip is usually gambler. Would never recommend gambler outside of these challenges. You wanna use recycle to predominantly reuse super scoop ups.

Pokemon
3x Articuno lv35
4x Electabuzz lv35
1x Jynx lv18
2x Lickitung lv26
1x Tauros lv35
3x Lugia lv55

Trainers
4x Gambler
4x Super Scoop Up
4x Sleep!
4x Bill's Teleporter
4x PokeBall
4x Recycle
4x The Rocket's Trap

Energy
10x Water
4x Electric
4x Double Colorless

Challenge 5: Rainbow Deck
Deck must have exactly 7 basic Pokemon: 1 of each type.

I chose mainly Pokemon that were either not there to attack (Articuno and Mr Mime) or Pokemon with colorless-based attacks. Rainbow energy appears heavily. This deck managed to clear out the fortress in the first few tries.

Pokemon
Scyther lv25
Magmar lv31
Articuno lv37
Electabuzz lv35
Rhyhorn
Mr Mime lv20
Lugia

Trainers
1 x Energy Search
2 x Professor Oak
4 x Itemfinder
4 x Computer Search
1 x Pokemon Trader
4 x Bill
1 x Bill's Teleporter
1 x Nightly Garbage Run

2 x Energy Removal
1 x Super Scoop Up
2 x Super Energy Removal
1 x Defender
2 x Gust of Wind
1 x Full Heal
2 x Clefairy Doll
1 x Mr Fuji
2 x Pluspower
1 x Switch
1 x Scoop Up
1 x Goop Gas Attack
1 x Lass
1 x The Rocket's Trap

Energy
3 x Fire
3 x Water
1 x Electric
1 x Fighting
2 x Double Colorless
4 x Rainbow
2 x Recycle

I again apologize for the triple post! These decklists are long and forced this message to go over the character limit. Sorry.

Challenge 6: No Multiples of the Same Card
A variation of challenge 1. Multiple cards with the same name are allowed, as long as they are different cards eg you can have 1 of each Mr Mime. Basic Energies are NOT exempt this time.

Lack of energy will be a huge challenge here so the Clefable line was perfect for this deck. Clefable is extremely energy efficient and Dark Clefable is a good defensive wall. Mr Mime is also useful to stall. I managed to clear the sealed fortress with this deck but it took a few tries, wasn't easy.

Challenge 7: No 2 cards of the same name, no exceptions
This is the most extreme form of the 'max 1 card' type challenges, and the most difficult.

With much difficulty and after many attempts, I managed to complete the gauntlet with this deck.

This is my deck for Challenge 7.
I assumed resets during battles were allowed. A lot of coin flips manipulation ensued.

The Evolutions are mostly here as fillers to increase our odds to start with Big Basics, but they can do some work on specific occasions, be it Pokémon Trader material, Revive + Eevee to Dark Flareon combo, Doing 60/70 for [C][C] vs weaknesses by manipulating coin flips (Vaporeon, Omanyte, Jolteon), blocking Evolutions (Aerodactyl). Magnemite OHKOs Mary's Squirtle with a PlusPower.

Fortunately the AI is bad, as the deck is really inconsistent. I'm thinking about making it 3 or 4 basics, and everything else Energy / Trainers / Evolutions to guarantee the start you want (and getting the one you need for the current duel with your search cards).

Noooooooo resets during battles are not allowed. That's cheating.
I like your dark flareon revive combo.

Oh well, remove Vaporeon and Jolteon in that case :(
It's also works quite well with Flames of Rage Arcanine in a non-restriction deck
