• Do to success of No Holds Barred, WWE had Randy Savage bring in Tom Lister to play his movie character, Zeus, to take down Hulk Hogan.

• Hulk Hogan completely forgot how to end his interview during Royal Rumble 1991, paused and said “Uh, well you know what’s going to happen Mean Gene!”

• WWE had a storyline in 1991 of Sgt. Slaughter defacing America. At this time, America was at war with Saddam Hussein. People were dying and WWE used it as an angle

• At Wrestlemania X, Alundra Blayze’s name display showed “Owen Hart” for a split second before it disappeared from the screen

• Undertaker seemed to be “missing” in 1994. WWE got Leslie Neilson to track him down

• WWE seemed to not give the Women’s division of the mid-90’s a lot of credit or TV time which is one reason why Alundra Blayze showed up on WCW TV and dropped the title in the garbage, mainly at request of Eric Bischoff. Sure, she probably regrets that but some hardly knew the division existed during that time in WWE

• In the 1996 Royal Rumble a identical twin tag team known as The Squat Team debuted. However they weren’t seeing again until the middle of 1997 when Jim Cornette announced his new team he’s the manager of. After a non-sanctioned brawl with British Bulldog, Owen Hart & The Headbangers, they were never seen again.

• Jim Cornette made comments about Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash having creative control over their WCW contracts saying it’s something you never give your superstars. However, he was working at WWE at the time and they’ve done this themselves. In fact, many companies do this

• In 1996 & 1997, one of WWE’s superstars was Jesse James who had a country music gimmick and he was face. In the 90’s, a country music star isn’t going to sit well with fans. This is why he usually got mixed reactions under this gimmick and it didn’t last long

• For a shot at WCW using older superstars, Wrestlemania XII had a match with “The Huckster” vs. “The Nacho Man” with “Billionaire Ted” as the referee.

• WWE spent weeks hyping up Ken Shamrock vs. Shawn Michaels for the PPV of December 1997 and it ended in a simple DQ

• In 1998, when Vince McMahon was in the hospital with a broken ankle on the RAW where Austin attacked him disguised as a doctor, earlier Mick Foley had showed up with a clown that made balloon animals for Vince. This was supposed to be at the hospital but later on, Sable was getting ready for an interview and one of the balloon animals was in the backround

• Vader & Kane were scheduled for a fight at a Pay-Per-View in 1998. Kane was the suspected winner but WWE gave it away by saying the loser will unmask

• RAW had a Hell In The Cell match in July of 1998. It didn’t happen as Austin battled Mankind & Kane while Undertaker beat up Paul Bearer in the cage. Less than a year before, Kane had ripped the Hell In The Cell cage door off it’s hinges. Now he couldn’t

• Flash Funk, Ahmed Johnson & Nation Of Domination have been rated as highly racist gimmicks. Cryme Tyme will surely be added to that list

• On a RAW in mid-1998, Undertaker raised his arm during part where area lights light up, but Kane’s ringpost pyro exploded right in Undertaker’s face. Later on when Kane did his pyro explosion, that ringpost of course, didn’t explode

• Back in the early 90’s and before then, anyone, even if not legal in the ring, could eliminate someone from a battle royal. WWE changed this in the late 90’s but in the 2002 Royal Rumble, as well as other battle royals afterward, it’s happened again

• WWE gets some disrespect of the 1997 Montreal Screwjob but still did a similar stint in the 1998 Survivor Series. But of course, it was to establish McMahon as an unfair boss

• Ahmed Johnson joined Nation Of Domination after Faarooq got rid of everyone except D’Lo. Ahmed’s joining seemed to make no sense since Faarooq was mainly using his group to take down Ahmed Johnson

• Kurrgan was an unstoppable monster in early 1998, but later on when “The Oddities” were in the scene, he wasn’t so threatening anymore

• WWE had trouble with Hawk due to a drinking problem and after he had to apologize for a former week, soon later they just gave him the drunk gimmick and being an idiot (like dancing with Oddities after losing) and even a lame suicide attempt by jumping on the RAW Titantron

• During Test’s entrance to a battle royal on RAW January of 1999, The New Age Outlaws theme played

• Vince McMahon became WWF World Champion

• Harvey Whippleman won the Women’s Championship wearing a mask

• Mae Young flashed the crowd at the 2000 Royal Rumble swimsuit contest.

• WWE hired Terry Taylor who worked in WCW for a few years, and in 2000 and he even commentated an hour of RAW where WCW was badmouthed during a segment. He went along with it but within a month, Taylor was released.

• At Wrestlemania 2000, during the 15 minute Hardcore Battle Royal, Referee Tim White counted a 2 count and stopped at three thinking Crash Holly was to kick out right at the last second but he wasn’t. He then said Hardcore Holly won the match, not Crash, even though he signaled the kick out

• When Stephanie McMahon & Triple H were having problems in 2000 during the McMahon-Helmsley era, the police were called on Triple H. Next week, it was revealed Test had called them as revenge for what happened to him seven months earlier. First of all, Test was also heel, and second, in the wrestling world, anything that happens 3 months ago or more is no longer existent

• Kane & Chris Jericho had a huge feud nearing the end of 2000, all over an accidental spill of coffee

• Raven at one time had a mysterious masked woman dressed in black helping him in his matches. It was no secret who it was and even fans chanted “Tori” at her before she was unmasked

• Wrestlemania’s X-Seven gimmick battle royal had 19 former superstars in the match. Gillberg was cut at the last minute due to WCW being purchased. Vince McMahon didn’t want possible “Goldberg” chants

• Mick Foley’s investigation of Austin’s rundown by a car led him to Rikishi of all people. In order to cover the bad feedback, they had to set up Triple H paying him off

• Every member of The Mean Street Posse, Funaki, Maven, Molly Holly, Trish Stratus, Terri Runnels and even a random Ho of the Godfather’s named Bobcat have been WWE Hardcore Champion

• Kid Rock performed “American Bad Ass” on RAW. First of all this was in Canada, and second of all, the crews missed the bleeped word leaving Kid Rock clearly saying “The F word” on TV

• During 2002, Raven was asked to be a commentary but his rejection resulted in being banished to Sunday Night Heat only. Storyline wise, he lost a “Loser leaves RAW” match. Finally after that punishment was over, he won his right back on RAW, but was released shortly after

• When Shawn Michaels & Triple H packed up four Spirit Squad members in a box with a “To O.V.W.” tag on it, even though Kenny was one of them and he still remained, Johnny also showed up the next week for a battle royal
