The new president worked on EA for 8 years. Ughhhhh

I've seen some hesitancy with that.

Just a few clarifications:
People said EA was bad working conditions. While they've dicked plenty of people in the past over, their employees are oddly not one of them. They do have some of the better working conditions in a particularly stressful industry. Hell, looking at reviews, the biggest issue was s*** customer service (fair), mediocre pay, and difficulties moving up. But of all things, they're one of the better companies to work for.

I bring this up because the other potential issue, how they're TERRIBLE to customers, isn't relevant here as NoA don't exactly directly work on many products. They can't retroactively add microtransactions or DLC as those are the devs who do that (or the Japanese portion of the company telling them to do that), meaning at worst it'll be special/GotY editions.

So yeah, EA has a reputation of treating their customers like s***, but since the NA president really can't get much say in that nor do they have a reputation for treating their WORKERS like s***, I don't think this will be that bad in the long run.

EDIT: I am a bit worried about customer service, though, I just realized NoA has direct influence on that. Though we'll see how that ends up, not much else should change. Should be worth noting it wasn't that great even before Reggie announced his resignation though. So at worst (and most likely), it'll just be about as s*** as it always is.

I can't help but think how, because Reggie became a Nintendo meme, they actually went for the meme choice. "Bowser is the new president?!"

Good for Reggie, his watch has ended and now can focus on making little Reggies.

He’s already done so. He can spend a lot more time with them though.
