It looks a lot like even though they are outbreeding us, we are outmeme-ing them, and that gives us a decisive advantage.

You walked outside into the city.
*Music: Lumiose City (Pokemon X/Y) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x60KfmRIpbc)*
Emblem City was a fairly big city in the region, and acts as the main port to a series of islands known as the Warflame Archipelago, as well as the other side of the region, Zeta Isle. Taking a boat to Zeta leads into the next city, "Splatter City," where the next Pokemon gym awaits....
Athena: I should probably take a boat and head out there.
While you pondered this, you heard someone yelp from near the central square.
???: Help! Thief!
You looked and saw a man with a small, goofy afro running from a very annoyed pokefan.
Pokefan: That was my ultra rare Pokemon! Give it back!
???2: This ultra rare Pokemon is the property of Team Miror now! You shouldn't have placed that bet, fool! But don't worry, this "ultra rare" Pokemon will become "super rare-" as a Shadow Pokemon!
The name "Team Miror" caught your attention. What do you do?

A. Ignore the two and head for the dock
B. Help the Team Miror grunt run from the Pokefan
C. Help the Pokefan fight the Team Miror grunt
D. Other

We're neutral, after all.

You decided to ignore the two and went for the dock. You went and talked to a sailor.
Sailor: Yar! Ye be wanting a ride to the Splatter City?! Let's set sail!
You got on the boat. The boat set sail. As it left, you saw the Pokefan and Team Miror grunt still playing cops VS robbers. Who knows how long they would go at that....

You waited on the boat as it sailed towards Splatter City. All you could see in front of the boat was water, water, and more water.
Athena: Can't this thing go any faster? Ugh....
You decided to pass the time somehow. What do you do?

A. Beat up some wild Pokemon
B. Go sneak into the engine room
C. Stare at the sea for a few hours
D. Go check out the dining area on the ship
E. Other

You stared at the sea for several minutes.
Then more minutes.
Then an hour.
Then several hours.
You felt like you were being watched back.
But all there was in front of you was the sea.
You began to wonder if the ship was even moving.
But you still continued to watch the sea.
After several hours of staring, the sea finally got tired of having you stare awkwardly at it.
Clearly even the sea doesn't like someone awkwardly staring at it, as evident by a giant whale coming out of it and straight at you.

What does Leafeon and Athena do?

(Alright, time for a battle! This CYOA's a bit.... Different compared to Pokemon: Warflame Masters. The biggest difference is in this CYOA, Athena takes part in battles herself! Now granted, at the moment Athena kinda.... Sucks at battle against anything that isn't Sunkern, Magikarp/Feebas, or Wishiwashi at low HP, but this could be useful later on. In addition, so long as Athena has a Pokemon out on the field, under most circumstances the opponent CANNOT attack Athena directly- they must attack her Pokemon. Think of it like Yu-Gi-Oh!; You can't attack the opponent directly if they have monsters on their side of the field. The same concept applies here.

The Pokemon themselves function the same as usual- each Pokemon has a type corresponding to the Pokemon games and have weaknesses based on that type. You can catch a Pokemon at low HP using a Pokeball, and Pokemon are restricted to four moves. MAG = SPATK and RES = SPDEF. If their HP reaches 0, they faint and are swapped with a different Pokemon.

TL:DR: So essentially, the only difference right now is that Athena can attack Wailord, defend, or use an item the same turn Leafeon uses a move. So Leafeon can use say, Razor Leaf for example, and Athena can Slap Wailord the same turn.

Thank you for listening, and good luck!)
